Marco Benevento, one of the most innovative and talented players today opened Sullivan Hall up in January with a series of 5 shows (which Mike Greenhaus of Relix/Jambands.com dubbed "scenester Thursdays") with special guests including the likes of Billy Martin (MMW), Stanton Moore (Galactic), Kaki King, Andrew & Brad Barr and Marc Friedman of The Slip, Joe Russo (The Duo), Skerik, Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green, JFJO), Steven Bernstein(Sex Mob), Bobby Previte, DJ Olive, Jonas Hellborg and more. We are very happy to have Marco back for two nights in April (11 & 12) with Briggan Krauss (of Sex Mob), Bobby Previte (Coalition of the Willing), and many special guests. Sam Kinninger Band (who recently tore up the stage with two sold out nights of Lettuce last weekend) will open on April 11.

Marc Ribot and other guitar gods in April!

A long-time wish has been fulfilled on the booking front for us. We booked one of the greatest guitarists on the planet: Marc Ribot! His new noise rock project Ceramic Dog will be hitting Sullivan Hall's stage on Wednesday April 23. Also, in the guitar god department at Sullivan Hall: Charlie Hunter Trio on April 17; Anders Osborne on April 19; and Brad Barr of the Slip who blew a lot of people's minds at Sullivan Hall back in January with Marco Benevento will be performing with Surprise Me Mr. Davis on April 20. Surprise Me is The Slip + Nathan Moore, formerly of Thamusemeant. That show will be the Official Green Apple Music Festival Wrap Party.
